31 July, 2015:

A group of 1000 Italian musicians, including guitarists bassists, singers, drummers and even a conductor gathered in the city of Cesena to perform Foo Fighters’ song ‘Learn to Fly’.

The purpose of this performance was to invite the band and play for them in the city.

They performance was really amazing (shown in the video below) and the leader of this amazing project, Fabio Zaffagnini said, “I’ve been working on this project for more than one year, waking up every morning, thinking about how to make it real. This is what we got – 1,000 people, 1,000 rockers that came from all over the nation at their own expenses, just for one song – your song. So our call is to ask you, the Foo Fighters, to come and play for us here in Cesena.”

The band saw this clip and in response tweeted, “Che bello, Cesena” (meaning “how beautiful” in Italian).
