UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has admitted that different types of problems surfaced in the party, as they failed to pay attention to the party organisation owing to busy schedule in constitution writing process.

Addressing a central committee meeting of the Revolutionary Journalists Association at party headquarters, Parisdanda, on Sunday, Chairman Dahal said that the country has taken a different direction after the promulgation of new constitution. He expressed belief that all-types of problems would be resolved gradually.

He said first amendment of new constitution has addressed some issues raised by Madhes-based parties, and added that the remaining issues would be properly addressed.

Chairman Dahal said, “The UCPN (Maoist) is ready to duly address the demands of all classes and communities. The constitution amendment was forwarded at our initiatives. The remaining demands will be addressed accordingly.”

According to him, the party will have unification with various pro-Maoist partiek and the process in this regard has already been initiated. He argued that he has begun a campaign of making the party largest one once again within two year.

Indicating towards the party’s former leader Dr Baburam Bhattarai, Former Prime Minister Dahal said that the organisation sans ideology could not do justice to the country and people.

He said that he drew the attention of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli that some works should be carried out in order to make people feel change. RSS
