Oct 4-Chitwan: Police have arrested 15 cadres of CPN-Maoist from Narayangadh in the district while they were burning effigies protesting against the nomination of candidacies for the forthcoming CA election.
According to spokesperson at the District Police Office, Chitwan, Sanjaya Raut, 15 CPN-Maoist cadres including Bhumeshwor Kandel, the central advisor of the party, have been rounded up.
They had protested and burnt the effigies of the top leaders of the four major political parties while leaders of other political parties were preparing to file their nomination at the District Election Office, said police. RSS
