12 August, Kathmandu: The priority agenda of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s upcoming state visit to India will be to implement agreements reached between Nepal and India in the past, said Nepali Ambassador to India Dip Kumar Upadhaya.

“Serious consultations will be held to review and implement past agreements and understandings between the two countries,” he said while speaking at a programme in Lalitpur today.

The act of setting the agenda for issues to taken up during the visit has reached the final stage, he said, adding that the Indian side has also been found to be taking this visit in high regard at the political level. RSS
