Picketing of the Singh Durbar by the Federal Alliance, including the Tarai-centric parties continues today also.
Cadres of different 29-parties associated to the Alliance are protesting at Hanumanthan and Maitighar Mandala demanding rewriting of the constitution to incorporate their rights.
With the protest, traffic movement in the capital has been affected now. Three protesting cadres are injured in the minor clash between the security personnel and the demonstrators and are undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital, the alliance sources said.
Security personnel are trying to ease the traffic movement in the area. Earlier, the government had urged protesters to organize the protests peacefully.
Tarai-centric and ethnic parties are protesting against the proposed delineation of the federal units for long.
