20 May, Kathmandu: All Nepal Peasants’ Federation has appealed not to link the dispute wracking the local polls’ vote count in Bharatpur Metropolitan City with a subject of changing the government.

Federation’s Publicity Department’s Bishwo Mani Subedi on Friday issued a statement condemning the systematic and conspiratorial rumor being spread in the market against Federation’s Chairman and CPN (UML) Vice Chairman, Bamdev Gautam, in relation to the dispute in vote count.

In the statement, the Federation has issued a clarification note saying that Gautam is not concerned about any subjects related to change of government and has not held interaction and discussed any matters apart from the election related issues.

The statement further reads that the party’s immediate policy is not to bring about a change in the government. RSS
