ashok_rai_Kathmandu, Oct. 19: The Ashok Rai-led Federal Socialist Party has all set to float the proposal of an inclusive presidential system as the form of governance.

 

In its election manifesto, the party has proposed the inclusive form of governance to ensure representation of different castes, communities and sexes.

President, Vice President and Prime Minister would be selected from separate ethnic communities as per the proposal of the party.

 

Likewise, the President and Vice President would represent different provinces and sexes while the Prime Minister would be elected from the House based on the proposal of the President.

 

The party has accepted the 14-province model floated by the State Restructuring Committee of the erstwhile Constituent Assembly (CA).

 

General Secretary of the Federal Socialist Party Rajendra Shrestha told RSS that his party has taken ownership of the 14-province model of the erstwhile CA adding that the three major political parties did not take the ownership of the 14-province model.

 

General Secretary Shrestha said that his party would unveil the election manifesto within this week. RSS
