‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has broke the records in the Bollywood box office earning Rs. 400 crores worldwide.

The records set by previous Bollywood blockbuster movies like Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’ and ‘Baahubali’ have been broken by Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.

‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ set a new record, as the film made around Rs. 19 crore nett whereas the previous record was held by ‘PK’ which had grossed around Rs. 17.25  crore nett.

The movie crossed Rs. 150 crore mark in just five days. In 2015, there were only two films that crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark before ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and they were ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ and ‘ABCD 2’.

On the first day of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, the movie made an enormous amount of Rs. 27.25 crore. Salman has ruled Eid in the box office with release of his films, and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has crossed the lifetime business of Salman’s previous two Eid releases ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Bodyguard’.

‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is Salman Khan’s eight film to cross the Rs. 100 crore mark. With this, Salman has become an actor with the maximum number of Rs. 100 crore hits in the Bollywood film industry. This movie not only became a success in Bollywood but in overseas market as well. This film, beating Sir Ian McKellen’s ‘Mr Holmes’ has earned 10th position on this week’s box office chart in USA.
