15 Nov, Hetauda: Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chair Kamal Thapa has said that the national reconciliation policy propounded by the late BP Koirala was inevitable for the country even today.

Addressing an election gathering organised by the democratic alliance at Hetauda Sub-metropolis-15 on Tuesday, he appealed to all the political parties to rise above party interests for consolidation of national freedom and democracy. As the general public cannot embrace a communist system, they should support the democratic alliance, he argued.

Nepali Congress leaders representing the democratic alliance Ashok Shakya and Ram Chandra Aryal said the alliance should be strengthened to protect fundamental rights, for balanced distribution of development infrastructure and maintain political stability in the country.
