18 Nov, Kathmandu: CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that the current government has no right to take decision on serious long-term issues. The UML Chairman also termed the current government as the caretaker one.

He was speaking at an interaction programme with the media publishers and editors this evening in the capital city.

At a time when the power of the central government is going to the lower levels and the transition would end after the polls, Oli said that the current government was not looking serious and was taking decision arbitrarily without holding talks with the oppositions.
He also urged the government to pay attention regarding the establishment of rule of law.

Oli also expressed his concerns towards ongoing violent attacks taking place in different parts of the country targeting the candidates ahead of the polls. “The violent activities should end immediately whoever is causing this,” Oli said.

On the occasion, Oli said that the left alliance would win majority of seats and form the government.
