1 September, Lamjung:  President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Suraj Vaidya, has said that constitution writing and economic development works of the country should be taken simultaneously.

At the 27th annual general meeting of the Lamjung Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised on Saturday, Vaidya said that politics and economic development of the country should be taken simultaneously as both are not different for national welfare.

Indicating that the country was being a failure due to lack of political stability, he said it was wrong to say that there would be development only after resolving political problems.

Different people including FNCCI Member Deepak Lamsal,  Lumjung President of  the Nepali Congress, Krishna Koirala, Lumjung Vice-Chairman of the CPN (UML), Guman Singh Aryal, and UCPN-Maoist Tamuwan State Committee Member, Raju Thapa, among others, also expressed their views at the programme held under the chairmanship of President of Lumjung Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bhesh Bahadur Poudel.
