9 Nov, Ilam: CPN-UML senior leader Jhalanath Khanal has said that the country will be taken towards the path of economic prosperity after the elections.
Addressing an election meet held at Chainpur in Rong municipality-2 on Thursday, Mr Khanal, who is a candidate from constituency no.1 of Ilam, emphasized that the country should adopt socialist democracy to achieve economic prosperity. He also pledged to taken the initiative for easy export of cash crops like ginger, cardamom, tea and dairy products produced by the district.
Candidate for the provincial assembly (a) seat from the province Kajiman Kagate, representing the left alliance, promised employment and education for the youth.
