19 August, Pokhara: Former Prime Minister and Senior leader of CPN (UML), Madhav Kumar Nepal, has said that CPN-Maoist cannot be side-lined in the upcoming Constituent assembly polls and stressed on the need to bring disgruntled parties into understanding and create an atmosphere for holding election on November 19.

Nepal said that his party will hold further discussion with poll-opposing CPN-M led 33 -party alliance and forge agreement with them to ensure their participation in the November 19 election.

Inaugurating the first annual general assembly of Pushpalal Memorial Foundation in Pokhara of Kaski district on Sunday, he accused UCPN (M) led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal of intending to go to election by side-lining CPN-M, something which will not be acceptable to his party CPN (UML).
