1 July, Kathmandu. Naya Shakti (New Force) Nepal coordinator Dr Baburam Bhattarai pressed for the re-structuring of the State before holding local bodies’ election.
At an interaction programme held here Thursday, Dr Bhattarai, also the former Prime Minister, shared that the Naya Shakti would also take part in the election of the local bodies.
Bhattarai spoke of the need for the government to address the discontent of the Madhesis, and indigenous on the re-structuring of State at the earliest.
He was of the view that the re-structuring of State, delineation of federal province, determination of constituency among others should be carried out as per the vision of the new constitution besides holding the election of the government bodies formed constitutionally.
Furthermore, Bhattarai said that the Naya Shakti had formed Department of Parliamentary Affairs to formulate a strategy necessary to take part in the parliamentary affairs. RSS
