Babiyachour (Myagdi), Nov. 10: Chief Election Commissioner, Nil Kantha Upreti, has acquired information about the preparations of Constituent Assembly (CA) election in Myagdi district.
Upreti today acquired information about the CA election preparations visiting chiefs of the security bodies, Chief Election Officer at the Beni-based Office of the Chief Election Officer today.
Upreti also acquired information about preparations carried out by the District Election Office and the issue of following the election code of conduct.
Similarly, the Chief Election Commissioner also discussed with officers of the security bodies on preparations including security.
Upreti discussed with Chief Election Officer, Gayatri Prasad Regmi, Chief District Officer, Chandra Bahadur Karki, chiefs of the four security bodies and District Election Officer, Kedarnath Poudel, about overall preparation of the CA election.
He also directed chiefs of the bodies concerned to hold CA election in a free and fearless manner.
Upreti would acquire information with concerned officials on election preparations by monitoring in Baglung and Parbat districts today itself, it is learnt. RSS
