20 Sept, Kapilvastu:
A total of eight cadres associated to CPN (Maoist) led by Biplav Chand were injured in a clash that took place between the cadres and local entrepreneurs at Jitpur of Badganga Municipality today.
District Secretary Sangam Pun, district member Ganesh Chaudhary, among others were injured in the clash when a team led by Pun was forcing to shut down Jitpur market.
Of the injured, three have been taken to Butwal for further treatment and the remaining are undergoing treatment at Kapilvastu Community Hospital and United Hospital, according to the District Police Office.
Badganga VDC has been declared a banda prohibited zone at the initiatives of local entrepreneurs and different organisations. Local entrepreneurs said that the clash took place in course of retaliation after banda enforcers forced to shut down markets. RSS
