23 Sept, Itahari: Finance Minister Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has said the government would hold the elections of House of Representatives and State Assemblies on the scheduled dates by implementing the constitution for country’s prosperity.
At a greetings exchange programme organised by Nepali Congress at Chakraghatti in the district Friday on the occasion of Dashain, Finance Minister Karki stressed that the government would not leave any stone unturned to hold the remaining elections.
He further said that collaboration and unity among all the forces believing in democracy was necessary to protect all the achievements as the constitution would not be successful until the country got prosperity.
On a different note, the Minister informed that the government would take special initiative to install telecom tower at Ramdhuni and Bishnupaduka, the religious sites of Sunsari. Similarly, the seven-kilometre road section from Ramdhuni temple to Vhakraghatti would be black topped.
According to him, the government was positive to provide financial support for upgrading quality education of Saptakoshi Multiple College. RSS
