10 August, Kathmandu: The European Union is to grant financial assistance worth Rs. 7.36 billion to the government to help implement the School Sector Development Plan.

The amount to be received for the next five years will be utilized in bringing necessary reforms to the management and service delivery of education sector, and for fulfilling technical and other requirements.

Finance Secretary Shanta Raj Subedi and Head of EU Delegation in Nepal  Rensje Teerink signed a financing agreement to this end at the Finance Ministry on Wednesday. RSS
