4 Nov,Putalibazaar (Syangja): Fire destroyed the house of one Rishi Ram Kafle at , Samadikhola, Banethok Deurali VDC-7 in the district last night. The fire reportedly started from oil lamps lit for illumination during the Laxmipuja festival. It is estimated that the fire damaged a huge amount of property including cash, grains and clothes in the house.
The fire was brought under control by the locals. It took about three hours to douse the fire. The Kafle family has been rendered homeless and the eight members of the family are taking shelter at their neighbors’ houses follow. RSS
