Prime Minister Sushil Koirala and Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae on Saturday held talks at former’s official residence on Saturday afternoon.

During the talks, the two discussed Nepal-India relations and import of essential supplies including the petroleum products.

PM Koirala appealed to Indian envoy Rae to make efforts at the highest level that the Indian government facilitated the regular and smooth supply of the essential goods, including petroleum products, from India, shared Prakash Adhikari, Press Coordinator of the PM.

In response, Rae said that supply of petroleum product was already smoothened from some bordering points since Friday. He assured that the supply would be easier in other bordering points by Sunday, according to Press Coordinator Adhikari. RSS
