20 August, KATHMANDU: Nepal was defeated by India U-23 by 84 runs at their group match in the ACC Emerging Teams Cup Cricket Tournament at Singapore on Tuesday.
Nepal scored only 184 runs at the loss of eight wickets in the stipulated 50 overs against 269-run target posted by India.
It is the second consecutive loss of Nepalese team in the tournament.
Earlier, Afghanistan defeated Nepal by three runs via the Duckworth-Lewis (D/L) method in the rain-affected match on Saturday.
Nepal had won the toss and decided to field.
