12 March, Kathmandu: Nepal lost its first match to Kenya by five wickets in ICC World Cricket League Championship at TU cricket ground on Saturday.

The 50-over match was reduced to 38-over first and then to 29 overs under the D/L method due to disruption caused by frequent rainfall. According to the system, Nepal set a target of 104 runs which the Kenya met at 25th overs.

With this win, Kenya has secured two scores in the championship keeping it chance for selection in ICC Cricket World Cup to be held in Bangladesh.
