Coordinator of the high-level political committee and Chairperson of the CPN-UML, Jhalanath Khanal, discussed political and electoral issues with the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers, Khilraj Regmi, on Saturday.
Issues as parties’ efforts to bring the dissenting political parties to the consensus politics and ensure their participation in the coming Constituent Assembly elections and appointments in the vacant posts at the constitutional bodies and in diplomatic missions were discussed at the meeting held at the residence of the Chairperson Regmi this morning.
Press Coordinator to the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers, Rajendra Prasad Pande, said that Chairperson Regmi reiterated that government was making preparations in a full-fledged manner to hold the CA election on the stipulated date.
Similarly, Chairperson Regmi told UML Chairperson Khanal that he would hold discussions with the concerned bodies on the appointments in the constitutional bodies and diplomatic missions and take decisions accordingly.RSS.
