Hollywood is about to turn yet another anime series into a movie and this is time it is the worldwide popular series ‘Naruto’.
Naruto is a popular Japanese manga series written by mangaka (manga artist) Masashi Kishimoto. The manga/anime series is about Naruto Uzumaki, a mischievous boy who often gets himself into trouble just so he could get recognized in his village known as Konoha. As most of the protagonist in a series, this boy later matures and turns out to be a hero and also the savior of the world along with his best friend and rival Sasuke Uchiha.
The Naurto series was further developed into ‘Naruto: Shippuden’ where all the characters have matured and go on new adventures.
Now Lionsgate has announced that it is making a live action movie based on this franchise.
Looking at Naruto the anime, we are surely hoping to see shinobi battling each other with awesome ninjutsus, taijutus and genjutsus. Of course, we cannot forget Naruto’s most powerful ally, Kurama, the nine-tailed fox. But with all the previous live action anime movies made by Hollywood, many fans have been disappointed. Many say that Hollywood cannot make good anime movies and so far it seems true. Will this time be any different? What plot lines are they gonna use? Will there be an epic battle between Naruto and Sasuke? Will this moive have the insanely powerful Madara Uchiha? Lots of questions are popping up within Naruto fans who wish to see this movie. We do hope that this time they won’t screw up.
The film is said to be directed by Michael Gracey.
