20 August, Ratnanagar (Chitwan) : A tiger which claimed the life of an officer with the Chitwan National Park, Harichand Bot, has been captured by the park staff.
The predator had killed Bot yesterday while he was cleaning around the Vulture Breeding Centre at the park. The park authorities finally took the beast under control at night after repeated attempts to capture it throughout the day, informed the park.

Prior to this, the same tiger which was reported to have taken the life of a woman in Tribeni of Nawaparashi, had been captured and locked in a cage at the park.

According to Buddhiraj Pathak, assistant conservation officer of the park, the same tiger later escaped from the park by climbing a tree within the bar and happened to kill Bot.

The park managed to capture the predator by snaring it from the place Bot was killed. RSS
