4 Dec, Kathmandu: Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun today said the voice of Swarsamrat Narayan Gopal Guruwacharya continues to touch the heart of the entire Nepali populace even today.

Vice President said so while launching a book entitled ‘Narayan Gopalko Sworlipi’ at a function organised jointly by the Nepal Art and Culture Development Centre and the Voice Art Academy in the Capital on the occasion of 26th annual commemoration day of Narayan Gopal.

He viewed that the recent creation would help to internationalise songs of Narayan Gopal. “Immortal songs of Narayan Gopal has established him as a eternal star in Nepali music. His (Narayan Gopal) contribution to the music sector has played a significant role in warding off western influence on our culture and music,” he said.

Likewise on the occasion, chairman of the centre Nawaraj Lama, also author of the book said the book will be beneficial for those wanting to learn music.

The book consists of notation of 20 everlasting songs sung by Narayan Gopal.
