27 March, Kathmandu: Nepali Congress on Sunday formed the election Mobilization Committee in view of the upcoming local body election on May 14.
The meeting of the central committee members at the NC’s central office at Sanepa in Kathmandu formed the Committee under coordination of senior leader Ramchandra Poudel.
Similarly, the Election Manifesto Declaration Committee coordinated by Mahesh Acharya was formed, according to the NC Central Office’s Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel.
Likewise, Central Performance Committee chaired by NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba was formed where altogether 29 members will be in the team named on the basis of seniority.
Also, the meeting has decided to keep 42 Central Department and expand the numbers as per the need.
The next meeting of the NC’s central executive committee is scheduled for March 27. RSS
