Central member of the Nepali Congress, Pradip Poudel, has announced that he would provide Rs 100,000 as assistance for the schooling of the young child of the late Surya Kumar Chhetri.
Chhetri, Secretary of Nepal Press Union and folk artist, breathed his last owing to brain tumor on Friday.
Issuing a press release, central member Poudel and spouse Anjila Neupane, the newly married couple, informed that they would provide the amount by slashing their marriage expense.
The amount would be provided through Nepal Press Union, Kathmandu Chapter.
