Kathamndu: Nepal defeat United Arab Emirates (UAE) in ACC Twenty-20 cup semi-finals here at the TU stadium. Nepal enters in finals first time in the history.
Nepal wins the match by 6 wicket with 5 ball remaining. In their only previous meeting in Twenty20‚ the UAE beat Nepal by six wickets during the group stage of the 2011 edition held in Kathmandu.
Elected to bat first after winning the toss, UAE had posted the target of 134 runs in 20 overs.
Nepal achieved the target in 19 over and 1 ball by losing 4 wickets.
Nepal is scheduled to play against Afganistan on Wednesday in final.
