Kathmandu, Jan. 12: Nepal is taking on United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the first match of one-day 2014 ICC World Cup Qualifier to be held in New Zealand on Monday.

Nepal is facing its archrival UAE in the match to take place in Rangiora oval cricket ground of New Zealand.

Nepal including UAE, Scotland, Canada and Hong Kong are in Group A in the qualifying match while the Group B includes the Netherlands, Kenya, Namibia, Papua New Guinea and Uganda.

The top two teams from each group would enter super six and three selected from among six teams would play the World Cup to take place in New Zealand.

The qualifier match will last on February 1. RSS
