In the ACC U-19 Premier League Cricket held in Malaysia, Nepal has set a 251 runs target for Kuwait.

Nepal won the toss and choose to bat first managing to score 250 runs in 50 overs at the loss of eight wickets.

Although Nepal made a slow start, the match went in favor of the Nepali team with a spectacular partnership of Saurav Khanal and Dipendra Singh Airi with a total of 130 runs.

The highest run scorer for the Nepali team, Saurav Khanel scored 85 runs with nine fours and two sixes while Khanal contributed 73 runs with five fours and one six.

Likewise, other players, Prem Tamang contributed 23 runs, captain Raju Rijal 15, Sunil Dhamala 11, Shankar Rana 8 and Aashish Dhami four. While Aarif Shekh and Rajbir Singh failed to score any run.

So far, Nepal has managed to grab two wins over the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Malaysia and conceded a loss to Afghanistan. Kuwait is batting at present.

The top three winner among the participating countries, Malaysia, Nepal, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, will make it to the U-19 Asia Cup Tournament.
