17 August, KATHMANDU: Nepal won the toss and elected to field against Afghanistan in the first match of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Emerging Teams Cup in Singapore this morning.
After being sent to bat first, Afghanistani batsmen scored 65 runs after completion of 19 overs with loss three wickets.
Opener Nawroz Mangal top scored for Afghanistan with unbeaten 31 runs. Nepali bowlers Avinash Karna, Chandra Saud and Basanta Regmi grabbed a wicket each.
