25 Jan, Baniyani (Jhapa): Researchers and professors from various countries have termed Nepal’s cardamom and ginger as being of superlative quality.

The foreign experts’ team made the remark at a programme held on Tuesday at Birtamode after a research held in the eastern hilly districts and discussions with the farmers.

Swiss Professor Hans Peter said he found Nepal’s cardamom sweet and exuding good scent. If focus can be lent to packaging and quality, Nepali agricultural products can easily gain access in the international market, he added.

The team also took part in a workshop ‘Cash Crop Production, Promotion and Export’ held by Federation of Large Cardamom Entrepreneurs of Nepal. RSS
