10 Oct, Kathmandu: Having suffered a fall in previous trading days, the Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index has climbed up by 0.74 points on the third trading day of the week. The index closed at 1502 points. The sensitive index also rose by 0.22 points.

A total of 6 lakhs 74 thousands and 786 units of share of the total 155 companies were sold and purchased at Rs 307 million, 68 thousands and 319.

Development bank soared by 0.85 points, while finance by 4.51 points and other groups by 8.67 points. Likewise, banking sector dipped by 0.3 points, trade by 3.38 points, hotel by 6.21 points, insurance company by 8.99 points and production groups by 11.64 points.
