1 Feb, Kathmandu: The Himalaya Airlines has brought a new aircraft on Tuesday. It is the second aircraft the Airlines brought to extend the service to Kuala Lumpur and Yangon. Earlier, the aircraft of the same series was linking Kathmandu to Doha and Colombo.

The Airlines’ French pilot Oltra flew the aircraft to Nepal, informed General Manager of the Company, Raju KC.

The plane with the registration number 9N-ALV is capacious for 158 passengers. The Himalayan Airlines with the joint investment from Tibet Airlines has planned to add two more planes within this year.

According to the company, the new airplane would begin flight to Kuala Lumber from February 10 and to Yangon from February 24. There will be five flights in a week to Kuala Lumpur while two in a week to Yangon.

For the round trip of Kathmandu-Kuala Lumpur-Kathmandu, it would cost Rs 25,375. Similarly, for the strip of Kathmandu-Yangon-Kathmandu, it would cost Rs 29,600.
