10 Jan, Kathmandu: Rastriya Prajatantra Party chairman Kamal Thapa has stressed on economic liberalism and open market policy for the prosperity of the nation.
While welcoming the newcomers in the party here today, chair Thapa shared that such economic policy was getting success around the world therefore it was essential in the country as well.
He further stated that the rapid economic prosperity could not be achieved in the country through socialism and communism due to its geographical setting.
In another context, leader Thapa added that there was no alternative to democracy in the country.
As many as 36 people from different political parties had joined the RPP amid a function organised at the party central office today.
The newcomers are all the permanent residents of Nawalparasi district, it is learnt. RSS
