17 March, Myagdi: Non-Resident Nepalese (NRN), United Kingdom (UK) has begun to construct an old age home at Galeshwordham in Myagdi district.

The home will be constructed at a total cost of Rs 7.2 million.  Shesh Ghale, chairman of NRN International Organization Coordination Council laid the foundation stone amid a function here on Sunday.

The 18-room home will provide shelter to over 50 elderly citizens.  The home is expected to be constructed within a year, said Yogendra Chhetri, chairman at the NRN, UK.

The elderly citizens are facing various difficulties in the old age home due to lack of proper building and this problem will end following construction of the new building, he said. RSS
