24 May, Kathmandu: CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has urged the ruling alliance not to hurry for government change until the second round of local level polls.

Organizing a news conference here Tuesday, he asked the ruling parties to be serious regarding the government change as this was the time for holding polls, bringing government policy and programs and unveiling budget.

“I have asked chiefs of both the Nepali Congress and Maoist Centre to wait for at least 20, 22 days. They have termed it their internal affairs but this could invite instability,” Oli added.

Oli also asked the government to withdraw its decision to increase the number of local level units. Similarly, he stressed on the formation of a parliamentary probe committee to investigate into the foul play that allegedly took place in the first phase of the local level polls. RSS
