Kathmandu, April 8: The Pepsi Standard Chartered one-day cricket tournament is kicking off from April 9. The tournament to be organised by Cricket Association of Nepal will conclude on April 20.
Nine regional teams and two departmental teams are taking part in the tournament, CAN general secretary Ashoknath Pyakurel said. Group ‘A’ matches will be held at Pokhara cricket ground and group ‘B’ events will be organised in Tribhuvan University cricket ground and Pulchowk Engineering Campus ground.
The winner team will bag Rs. 150,000, the first runner-up team Rs. 100,000 and the player declared ‘man of the match’ Rs. 25,000. Similarly, the best batsman will receive Rs. 15,000 and the best bowler will receive Rs. 15,000. RSS
