PAPAD4 Oct-Kathmandu: Professional Alliance for Peace and Democracy (PAPAD-Nepal) has called for ensuring ten percent representation of workers in the next Constituent Assembly (CA).

 

Speaking at a programme organised on the occasion of the 68th   founding day of World Trade Union Federation, PAPAD General Secretary Shiva Kumar Adhikari stressed the need of giving right to elect and to be elected from the work place.

 

This year’s 68th anniversary of WTUF is going to be observed under the slogan of ‘Education, health, shelter, food and drinking water for workers.’  The Alliance also took out a rally on the occasion.

 

The rally that was originated from Bhadrakali converged into a corner meet at Ratnapark-based Shanti Batika after going through Sahid Gate and New Road, calling for guaranteeing social security of workers and unity among the workers across the world. RSS
