29 June, Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has thanked all those supporting to hold the second round of local-level election successfully on Wednesday.
Saying the people use their sovereign rights especially through the election in democracy, Prime Minister Deuba added the election is also the opportunity for them to exercise the decisive power.
He made it clear that the government has scheduled the local-level election of province no 2 for the third-phase with an objective of guaranteeing the participation of Madhesi, Tharu and indigenous nationalities by making the constitution acceptable to all.
The Prime Minister also appealed to the people of Province No 2 to be active in the preparation of electing their representatives.
Expressing gratitude towards the support by the international community in democratic practice of election, Prime Minister Deuba expected such support and harmony in days to come as well. RSS
