20 Nov, Kathmandu: President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN (UML) chair KP Sharma Oli have extended sorrow over the demise of Prakash Dahal, son of former Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal today.

President Bhandari reached Dahal’s private residence Lazimpat to extend condolences to the bereaved families Monday, said President Bhandari’s media expert Madhav Sharma.

Similarly, PM Deuba also reached Dahal’s residence Lazimpat and extended condolence to the bereaved families, said PM’s press coordinator Govinda Pariyar.
According to UML chair Oli’s press coordinator Chetan Adhikari, chair Oli, leaders Madhav Kumar Nepal, Bishnu Rimal, Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal among others also extended condolence to the bereaved families reaching Lazimpat today itself.

On the occasion, President Bhandari, PM Deuba, former Prime Ministers duo Oli and Nepal among others had paid floral tribute on late Dahal’s photograph kept there for those wishing to pay their last respect.

Prakash Dahal, the only son of the CPN-MC Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ had died of sudden cardiac arrest at the age of 36 in the capital on Sunday.
