3 August, Kathmandu: The Nepal Oil Corporation on Sunday reduced the existing prices in petroleum products including cooking gas in response to the decline of prices in the international market.

The prices per liter of petrol, diesel and kerosene have been slashed by Rs 2.50, according to Secretary at the Ministry of Commerce and Supply Naindra Prasad Upadhaya.

With the latest adjustment, the price per liter of petrol now stands at Rs 106.50 while the cost per liter of diesel and kerosene has come down to Rs 84.50.

Likewise, the price of cooking gas has been updated to Rs 1,435 after a deduction of Rs 35 from the existing price.

The Corporation has also slashed Rs 15 per liter of aviation fuel in domestic flights adjusting it to Rs 118. In the international flights, the Corporation has slashed 75 US dollars, NOC Chair and Ministry Secretary Upadhaya said. The NOC took the decision after consulting the line ministry.
