Gorkha : Police on Sunday arrested Bharat Dhakal, a Mathematics teacher at Tara Higher Secondary School, for allegedly raping a woman at Chhepetar in Gorkha. Barkilo police post arrested Dhakal and handed him over to the District Police Office, which said proceedings against him will start tomorrow.
The victim’s medical report confirmed that she was raped, said Inspector Sunil Jung Sah. There were wounds in her body, police said. The villagers said they had rescued the woman after she screamed for help.
