Gaushala: A secondary school in the western belt of the district has been disrupted for 10 months following an indefinite lockout.

The secondary school at Phulkaha VDC was closed by the guardians over the alleged financial irregularities of principal Dinesh Das while appointing teachers and other employees.

The guardians accused him of appointing his own family members in the school.Following the school closure, the students are taking class in a neighbouring school. However, most of the students quit their study, said the locals.

Despite this, the teachers and employees at the school are taking salary regularly. No initiative has been taken from anywhere, as the school is very remote from the district headquarters. RSS
