The Second Century Corporate Bank Super Sixes Cricket Tournament is set to kick off in the capital from September 26.
The five-day league-cum-knockout tournament to be participated by 24 different teams and organised by the SS Events (P) Ltd will be played at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
Speaking in a press conference in the capital today, Raman Siwakoti, chief executive director of the sponsor company, informed that around Rs 2.5 million is estimated to be spent for the event.
On the occasion, Jiban Bhattarai, executive director of the Century Bank, said that the competition has been organised to promote cricket. In the previous edition, Civil Bank had managed to win the trophy. RSS
