Seven members of a family killed in landslide in Makawanpur

13 August, Hetauda (Makawanpur): Seven members of a family at Bakaiya rural municipality died in a landslide today.

The incident took place when a landslide buried a house of Mangal Singh Nyasur of the place. The deceased are Nyasur’s wife Sunmaya, daughters Maya, Hira, Sanu, Maya, sons Palmo and Bikas.

Similarly different road sections in the districts have been blocked and about dozen of settlements were inundated and affected by floods and landslides in the district. RSS
