16 March, Kathmandu: Super 8 cricket competition is scheduled to take place in the capital from March 28.

To be organised jointly by Khukuri ENT and Diva and Media Pvt. Ltd, the match will be played at Kirtipur TU cricket ground until April 1, said the organising committee secretary Binod Maharjan at a press conference in the Capital on Thursday. A total of 37 matches will be played, said Maharjan.

The winner will win Rs 100,000 while first runner-up will receive Rs 50,000. Likewise, the best athlete will be awarded Rs 20,000 in cash while the best batsman and bowler will get Rs 10,000 each.
