WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper has passed away at the age of 61.
The wrestling world has lost yet another legend. Roddy Piper better known by his ring name ‘Rowdy Roddy Piper’ was a Canadian professional wrestler, also a film actor and a podcast host. He was best known in the wrestling world for his contributions in World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) in the mid 1980s to the mid 1990s.

Piper headlined several major pay-per-view events and even participated in the main events of Wrestlemaina I and Wrestlemania X as a special guest referee. Despite never having won a world championship, he was still a fan favorite and won numerous championship and became a B-movie horror icon with the cult hit ‘They Live’.
His contributions to the wrestling world world will always be remembered.
