The government has appointed three new members to Press Council Nepal. Journalists Govinda Chaulagain, Subekshya Bindu Tuladhar and Dipak Pathak have been appointed to the vacant post of members of the Council.

Chaulagain is the Chair of Federation of Nepali Journalists, Kathmandu chapter, Tuladhar is Chairperson of Working Women Journalists Association while Pathak is the publisher of Margadarshan, a monthly magazine. They were appointed by a ministerial-level decision on Friday, according to media expert at the Communications Ministry Matrika Pokharel.
